from S-Bahn-Station Tiergarten: The S-Bahn station Tiergarten is marked with the , the institue with the green arrow. Walk along “Salzufer” street (5 minutes). Our institue is on the 6th floor, in the back of the north corner.
from Hauptbahnhof: Take any of the west-bound S-Bahn lines from track 16 to S-Bahn station Tiergarten. It's only 2 stations. Buy a short trip (”Kurzstrecke“) ticket for about 1.30 EUR. (Tickets can be bought on the platform and must be stamped there as well.)
from airport Tegel: Tegel airport is not far, so a taxi is not too expensive. Alternatively, take the bus X9 (in direction “Zoologischer Garten”) to the station “Ernst-Reuter-Platz” and walk from there (see the map). Buy a ”Berlin AB“ ticket for about 2.10 EUR from the bus driver.
from airport Schönefeld: Take the “S-Bahn” (follow the signs) from “Berlin-Schönefeld” to “Tiergarten”. The line “S9” (S-Bahn number 9) has a direct connection and takes 47 minutes. Buy a ”Berlin AB“ ticket for about 2.10 EUR. (Tickets can be bought on the platform and must be stamped there as well.)
