Since there is obviously still a lot of demand for information about Earthling I decided to update this page. While I will not put too much effort into designing the page, I will try to get all information about past and future releases I can gather.

Please note: I need your help. I personally only own 'Radar' and the two 'Echo On My Mind' CDS'. So if you own on of the other releases send me all information you can. Scans of the covers would be nice, too.

Earthling is the Bristol-based duo of Tim Saul (music, programming) and Mau (vocals), sometimes aided by Edison (programming, instruments).

Their music may be called Hip-Hop, with Mau distinctive raps, or Trip-Hop, due to the dusty beats Saul programs. To me, it is just dammed good music. Deep basses, sloppy beats, a very unique rap flow and great lyrics.

Please note that this page is not about that other band from the U.S., called Earthlings?.

A funky person (called Sebastian, of course :-) pointed me to some good news.
It looks like 'Human Dust' finally will be released, here you can find the hints. There's light at the en of the tunnel.

Now on for some news.
In a posting Tim Saul sent to the Portishead mailinglist at www.portishead.co.uk in April 200 he told that Earthling did finish a second album called 'Human Dust', which may or may not get released some time.
I'm going to contact him to get more info about the state of affairs.

The second Earthling album is finished, but not yet released. After Earthling got dropped by EMI they have to find a label that is interested.
