Each text field can be used for multiple entries. Use "," (comma) but no extra spaces to separate them, e.g. "australia,new zealand" for location.
You also don't have to fill out everything! Just enter a date for example. A year or a time span must be entered in a specific format. Be aware that you only can use entries like "1951", "1947-1950", "6/30/1908" or "6/20/1947-1950".
